I believe I was put in this situation because I’m stronger than other people. At first I was jealous of all the couples I know who can still see and talk to their significant other everyday. Now I realize that they could not go through what I am; their relationships could not withstand the stress that goes along with being with someone in the Army. I am strong; stronger than most. This separation will only strengthen the bond my boyfriend and I already have, and when all is this is over the same people who I was jealous of at one time will be jealous of us.
Are you kidding me? Did I just read that correctly? You are suffering from Special Snowflake Syndrome. You do not deserve entitlement simply because your boyfriend is in the military. You can’t put down other people relationships because you think you are better than they are.
